There was a time when stories would feed a village. Stories told around a fire, shared in ritual and ceremony, offering praise to the land and initiations into mysteries.
Story Coven invites you to reimagine and remember how myths and fairytales can connect us to a wild imagination, collective memory, and kinship with the more than human world.
A world where nettle spinners weave devotion and defiance, and a girl with bear claws climbs a glass mountain and barters with a hag queen to rescue her beloved. Raven unravels the pattern of the world and shaking up stagnation. We learn what it means to be lost in dark forests and descend into the underworld, to tend ashes, make holy sacrifice, and return to our village in a new shape, carrying grief won edge wisdom.
With storytelling, creative practice and reflection, Story Coven weaves myth, ecology, and psychology, exploring fairytales, their deeper meanings and how they resonate in our lives and time.
What people say
“I absolutely loved Nadin’s Story Coven. The stories and the structure of the sessions have sparked so many of my passions—nature, poetry, politics, cosmology, mythology, feminism, folklore, fantasy, ritual, psychology, and, of course, the art of storytelling.
Each session has left me feeling inspired, educated, and deeply grounded. They have encouraged me to think more deeply and be more present in the moment. Nadin has a beautifully calming presence, and her storytelling is both captivating and soothing—being in her sessions feels like sitting in the presence of a mystical, magical witch (and I mean that in the best way possible!).
In a world that often feels like it’s heading in the wrong direction, where so much is out of our control, these sessions have helped me reconnect with what truly matters. I arrived not knowing what to expect and have walked away feeling enlightened, eager for the next course, and grateful that something so special exists right on my doorstep.” – Holly Hardy
